On Being Privileged

I realized this morning that I am among the privileged because I'm HUMAN. Human beings are privileged. We can laugh. We can cry. We are given an awareness of our relationship with the Divine. We can reflect on our own mortality. We can willingly sacrifice our lives for each other... for causes that fill our hearts with passion.
